Old Town Criers Competition2025

On the steps of St Clements Church, High Street Come on down to see your hosts Deeday & Bev and compete to become the Old Town Crier for Old Town Carnival Week! Or just come and watch (and donate in the bucket of course!). All entrants are given a text to read out and the best, loudest, clearest reader will be crowned Old Town Crier. Open to all with prizes for best adult male and adult female, and best youngster. £1 or donation in the bucket to enter. Register on the steps at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.
