FREE ENTRY Theme: "100 YEARS OF TELEVISION" It's time to get creative and bring television to life! Dress up and recreate a favourite TV moment from the past or present. This could be inspired by a much-loved comedy, drama, soap, entertainment show, reality TV, kids programme, sporting event or film. Whether it's a classic blast from the past or a modern favourite, we can't wait to see your ideas come to life. Parking in Rock-A-Nore car park, Hastings, TN34 3DW (see road closures below) Timings: • 1pm - Registration opens at The Stade Open Space (signs will direct you where to go) • 4pm - ASSEMBLY STARTS along Rock-A-Nore Road, Hastings, TN34 3DW • 4pm - Registration for judging closes • 5:00pm - PARADE STARTS PLEASE NOTE - Road closures in place from 3:30 - 8:30pm. Please ensure you arrive prior to these closures. Details - Roads will be closed from Iceland Roundabout to the top of Old London Road. JUDGING AND PARTICIPATION GUIDELINES Judging and award presentations will be completed before the parade begins. Entrants will be assessed against the following criteria: • Overall costume and/or float designs • Interpretation of the carnival theme • Creativity and presentation • Entertainment and engagement with spectators Trophies and certificates (one per category) will be awarded for the following: ⭐Best in Show ⭐Most Photogenic ⭐Most Entertaining ⭐Best Junior Entry ⭐Best Performance Group ⭐Best Pedestrian Entry ⭐Best Mobility Vehicle ⭐Best Pram (non-motorised vehicle) Enjoy the show and please give generously.
