Old Town Crier Competition2026

A friendly competition to appoint this year’s Carnival’s Town Crier. The winner will be given a place in the Grand Carnival Procession at the end of Carnival Week. Entrants are given a text to read out (bring your own text if you want). The best, loudest, clearest performance will be crowned Old Town Criers. Open to all, with prizes for best adult Male, Female and Young Person. Register on the steps at 7pm for 7.30pm start. Event in aid of: HOTCA Charge for event: £2 (or a donation of your choice)
